“Lion Cub Chewing on a Bracelet”
Another lion themed piece of jewelry in my collection. I am staying true to my inspirations.
https://anastasiasavenko.com/bracelets/lion-cub-silver-bracelet-detail
This little “kitten” sits comfortably on the wrist and will always be a well-behaved companion.
A heavy silver cuff was inspired but yet another ancient Assyrian bas relief depicting a mighty king holding a lion cub in his arm while the innocent creature dig his teeth in the king’s skin. It made me smile and think of change of generations and how sometimes ignorance makes people bold and daring.
In this bracelet I wanted to show a beautiful old looking bracelet with lots of details and a young animal biting into it. How new offspring change and evolve using old heritage.

And a picture of early stages of Lion Cub life.

Spring Crafts On Columbus, New York, NY

I am looking forward to be part of this great show this weekend!
The 33rd annual Spring Crafts on Columbus will take place on the sidewalk next to the American Museum of Natural History and the Rose Center for Earth and Space.
This sidewalk will be transformed into a premier marketplace for 100 American Fine Craft Artisans, Designers, Painters and Photographers from across the nation who exhibit their own works and designs in this annual Upper West Side Event – now in its 33rd year.
Leading professional designers as well as innovative emerging artists will showcase a wide selection of creative mediums and the latest Spring fashion trends. An abundance of jewelry and wearables – all designed and hand made in the US; creations in wood, leather and sheepskin, blown glass, ceramics and pottery will be exhibited. For children, there are brightly colored toys and clothing. Handmade candles, hand painted silk clothing, quilts, clocks and furniture are for sale. Several photographers and other fine artists also exhibit their artwork. If you’re looking for that special gift for someone - or for yourself, you’ll be sure to find it here in this delightful outdoor setting.
